Wow...so much has changed in 3 years! I decided it's time to get back to blogging. I've got so much on my plate, why not add more? I'm no longer working two jobs in scrapbooking. After much consideration, my wonderful hubby and I decided it was time for me to bite the bullet, so I'm going back to school. I'll be 36 at the end of next month, so it's now or never! I always dreamed of teaching elementary school...so we're going to see if we can make it happen. I'm also an independent jewelry advisor for lia sophia. I love doing jewelry shows, meeting some fantastic women and outfitting them with some bling! Our new Fall/Winter Style Guide (yes, it's now called a Style Guide instead of a catalog) will be out this month, and available for ordering in August. I can't wait to show everyone the new pieces in line for this year. They are fab!!!! You're going to see a lot more of me in the future! I've got tons of opinions, rants, pictures, ideas and plenty of other random things! So stay tuned and thank you for supporting! K

Let the Sunshine...

Yay! All in one day, lots of things turn around. I now have TWO jobs! After many interviews and countless sign ups with job placement agencies, I finally found a full time job.
It also seems that scrapbooking is now my life...lol. The part time job is to demo scrapbooking at a local craft store on the weekends. The office job during the day is working for a company that sells scrapbooking supplies. I love to scrapbook, but not to the level that some do. I just don't have the money to waste on it. I have to brush up on my skills and see what special tools and touches are out there.
To make a long story short, we were having some trouble adjusting at first, but now we're all getting on the right track. It's not so bad to get up in the morning and face the day!

A Fresh Start

Ok, so it's time to get this blog moving again. The house is all upacked and finished, at least until I get a job and can start changing and decorating. I start a part time job at a craft store tomorrow, so my paycheck will be going right back to the store! Sweet!

I'm loving being so close to the beach. That is, if it ever stops raining. We've been out here for a month, and it's rained EVERY weekend! That's crap!

Over coffee this morning (the gloomy weather is, at least, changing my early riser son into a sleeper. I'll take it!) I found some inspirational pictures to get the mind moving as to what I want to do with our little house.
